The story
The Farmall C was a small two-plough row-crop tractor from International Harvester, launched in 1948. It grew out of the Farmall B but was larger and more adaptable.
The driver's seat, which sat to one side on the B, was moved to the centre, and bigger wheels allowed a straight rear axle that could be set to many widths. The C was heavier and stronger than the B and had hydraulics from the start.
Later it was renamed and updated as the Super C, 200, 230 and 240, and these close relatives stayed in production until 1962.
