The story

John Deere built the Model B from 1935 to 1952 as a smaller and cheaper version of its Model A, rated to pull two ploughs. Over its life it appeared in three main forms: the unstyled tractors of 1935 to 1938, the early styled and wartime machines of 1939 to 1947, and the late styled versions from 1948.

After 1952 its line carried on in the 50, 520 and 530, which were built until 1960.
