The story

The Profi Trac 5000 TVL was the largest and most powerful tractor ever made by the Munich firm Anton Schlüter. It was shown at the 55th DLG fair in 1978 as a production model, with a twin-turbo MAN V12 diesel, wheels of equal size and a weight of around 18 tonnes.

Schlüter hoped to sell it in Yugoslavia, but political changes there meant no orders came. In the end just one was built.

The company used it as a demonstrator through the 1980s, and it was sold after Schlüter closed.

Did you knowAlthough it was launched as a series-production model, only one Profi Trac 5000 TVL was ever made.
