The story
The Model C was a small row-crop tractor that Allis-Chalmers made from 1940 to 1949. It was developed from the smaller Model B and used the Allis-Chalmers CE engine.
With a base weight of about 2,500 lb, it was a light machine aimed at general row-crop work. In drawbar testing it produced a little over 18 hp and pulled almost 2,400 lb.
Its length of just over 110 inches made it a compact machine. The Model C stayed in production through the 1940s and was later replaced by the Model CA.
