Allis-Chalmers tractors.
Allis-Chalmers was formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1901 and built its first farm tractors between 1914 and 1919. It adopted Persian Orange paint in 1929, and in 1932 it worked with Firestone to introduce pneumatic rubber tyres on tractors, which soon replaced steel wheels on much of the market. The farm business was sold to KHD in 1985 as Deutz-Allis, which later became AGCO.
