The story
Before the Model 30, the Cockshutt Plow Company sold tractors bought in from Oliver and Allis-Chalmers in the United States and sold under its own name. The 30, built at Brantford in Ontario from 1946, changed that and turned Cockshutt into a full-line farm machinery maker.
It used a four-cylinder Buda engine and became known for its live power take-off, which kept running whether the tractor was moving or standing still. It was also sold in the United States as the CO-OP E3 and the Gambles Farmcrest 30.
No Cockshutt 30 listings yet. Dealers and private sellers will be able to list them here soon.
