The story

The ZT 300 was a family of 20 kN class farm tractors made by VEB Traktorenwerk Schönebeck from September 1967 until 1984. It took over from the RS14 Famulus, but unlike that earlier tractor it was sold under the Fortschritt brand, a name meaning 'Progress'.

The name covers both the first ZT 300 model and the series as a whole. Across the series, 72,382 tractors were built.

The best seller was the ZT 303 of 1972, which brought automatic all-wheel drive. The ZT 320 began replacing the range in 1983.
