The story

The 3020 belonged to John Deere's New Generation family and took over from the 3010, which it closely resembled. It sat on a 90 inch wheelbase and was rated at 71 horsepower.

Farmers could pick a four-cylinder engine for gasoline, diesel or LP gas, all built by John Deere. The standard gearbox gave eight forward and two reverse speeds, with a power shift transmission available as an option.

A wide choice of front ends and tread settings let the 3020 suit row crops, utility work or orchards, and it remained in production until 1972.
