The story
The Oliver 80 was developed from an Oliver Hart-Parr industrial tractor and adapted for farm use. When it appeared in 1938 it was rated for three 14 inch ploughs, placing it among medium-sized tractors.
The line kept growing after the 80 itself, and by the time the Super 88 arrived it was rated for six plough bottoms, making it a heavy tractor.
