The story

The Oliver 90 belonged to Oliver's most powerful tractor family, built for heavy ploughing. The line grew out of the Hart-Parr 28-44, which was offered with either a low-compression or a high-compression engine.

Those two versions became the 90 and the 99. The two branches came back together as the Super 99 and later split again into the 950, 990 and 995.

The 90 itself used a 7.3 litre Waukesha-Oliver engine and weighed about 7,000 lb.

Did you knowThe 90 and 99 began as the low and high-compression versions of the same Hart-Parr 28-44.
