The story

The Standard 218, also called the N 218, was the third generation of Porsche-Diesel's two-cylinder Standard tractor. It was built by Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance from 1957 to 1963, taking over from the 208.

Power came from Porsche's own 1.6 litre diesel, rated at 25 PS. Four different versions were offered, and the factory turned out more than 12,000 of them in total.

Top speed was 20 or 25 km/h depending on version.
